Good morning! We hope that you had a nice weekend. During the last few webinars and teleworkshops, Lisa has revisited the importance of allowing yourself to grieve. Grief is an incredible and complex process of multiple emotions, and it is not something that will pass very quickly. You may experience grief, in general, throughout your journey to fertility. This will likely feel more intense after negative cycles and especially if you experience a miscarriage.
Grieving the loss of your fertility and/or pregnancy is a natural process that takes time, patience, and care. This is the time to be extra kind to yourself. Make sure that you are getting the rest that you need, and allowing yourself to acknowledge and feel each emotion. At times, the burden of these feelings may feel overwhelming. When you are in the middle of the storm, we encourage you to ask for help. You can access a list of local counselors we recommend, or you can reach out to Lisa, our Support Coordinator by messaging her within the Patient Portal. You are also welcome to attend any of our support events throughout the month. For our support opportunities, both in-office and virtual, please check our CNY Fertility and CNY Healing Arts calendars.. You are not on this journey alone, and we always want you to ask for help when you need it.
We hope that you do ask, as we would be happy to coordinate any care that will support you on your journey.
Finally, did you know that we started new Private Facebook Fertility and Pregnancy Groups for current clients? Here, you can find a safe and secure space to share with other women and men facing similar challenges. You can get immediate support and feedback! If you are interested in joining, please message Lisa Stack within the Patient Portal
If you have any questions about the support available, please feel free to contact us at any time.
If you are interested in a more private one-on-one support situation, Lisa Stack is our CNY Fertility Center Support Coordiator, she offers her services as a lay support person and can be contacted by email at email@example.com if you are not yet a client or via the Patient Portal if you are a current client.
If you are interested in an initial fertility consultation either over the phone (if you live out of the NY State region) or in-office, please call our toll-free number at 800.539.9870 or request a consult here.
