Embryologist
CNY Fertility Center is seeking an experienced full-time Embryologist to join our team at the Latham, New York location. The successful candidate should be proficient in all aspects of human IVF, including oocyte retrieval, oocyte and embryo assessment and handling, ICSI, AH, embryo biopsy, vitrification and QC/QA. Minimum requirements are a bachelor’s degree in biology or a related field with at least 2 years human IVF experience, fluency in English and must be a US citizen or a permanent resident. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a team player, technically skilled, and be highly motivated. Applicant must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, be able to communicate accurately and concisely, have the ability to work successfully under stressful conditions, and must be capable of adapting to varying workloads. Weekend and holiday rotation is required. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Clinical Laboratory Scientist
CNY Fertility Center Latham is seeking a full-time NYS Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our Endocrinology and Andrology laboratory team. The successful candidate must have a NYS license as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist. Participation in a weekend/holiday rotation is required.
Job duties include but are not limited to performing reproductive hormone analysis, semen analysis, semen cryopreservation, record keeping, quality control, and quality assurance.

Summary: Performs patient-specific duties in the area of fertility including patient care, teaching, triage, procedures (once signed off as appropriately trained) and protocol in a clinical and operating room setting under the direction of the physician by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provides concierge treatment to all clients
Places patients in rooms, assists with recording and taking vital signs, and records patient history, medications, and significant changes.* (I added this from the LPN list)
Performs transvaginal follicular and prenatal ultrasounds.*
Performs intrauterine inseminations.*
Administers medications and follows medication protocols.*
Performs venipuncture and prepares blood and urine specimens for the laboratory
Starts, maintains, and discontinues IV lines.*
Triages patient problems, questions, and concerns to the appropriate area. Answers basic fertility protocol questions per current protocol*
Provides patient education and health teaching.*

Supervises all LPN and nurse assistants, and medical assistants.*
Maintains clean surfaces per nursing protocol for exam and procedure rooms between patients and at end of work day
Maintains supply inventory and reordering of clinical supplies (for exam rooms and operating rooms)
Maintains inventory and reordering of stock and sample medications. Includes appropriate disposal of expired medications
Follows proper safety protocols for eye wash stations, sharps disposal, stericycle red bags and procedure equipment
Participates in staff development, infectious disease classes*.
As appropriate, attends nursing conferences and continuing education pertaining to area of expertise.*
Qualifications:

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Medical Billing Clerk is responsible for performing various billing functions and utilizing computer knowledge by verifying patient’s insurance coverage and patient information to process insurance claims as well as performing the following responsibilities and duties.
SCOPE
The Medical Billing Clerk reports to the Billing Supervisor and is responsible for providing office and billing services. Failure to provide these services in an efficient and effective manner will result in disruptions in the provision of services.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Enters patient information into computer and verifies all information is correct.
- Performs all data entries and computer functions related to billing and payment procedures.
- Answers questions regarding patient insurance information
- Answers patient inquiries regarding status of accounts and documents conversations in the appropriate areas of the patient’s record in computer.
- Ensures all bills pursuant to billing cycle are mailed in accordance with company procedures.
- Generates and reviews accounts receivable reports for accuracy as needed.
- Transmits claims electronically and is responsible for follow up of any rejected claims.
- Monitors billings for accuracy and communicated with billing supervisor to resolve discrepancies or verify unusual items.
- Follows up with insurance companies regarding delinquent accounts.
- Executes appropriate collection activity in accordance with company guidelines.
- Negotiate with delinquent customer accounts to minimize collection activity potential.
- Obtains patient records and mails to appropriate insurance companies as requested.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Thoroughly clean all treatment rooms, sauna, retreats and kitchen. Maintain and clean Hot Tub. Maintain a clean office appearance by dusting desks, filing cabinets, tables and computer terminals. In the winter months, tend parking areas, remove snow and de-ice driveways. Responsible for maintaining inventory of cleaning products and supplies. Responsible for carpentry such as repairing desks, chairs, hanging artwork and other general maintenance as required. Available to run errands for the Fertility or CNY Healing Arts center.
