Melissa's Story:
My name is Melissa Fisher and I was 38 when I started my journey trying to get pregnant. I had not met “my person” and decided I was no longer willing to wait to fulfill my dream of becoming a mother.
I went through three rounds of IVF at a clinic in Ohio, only getting three embryos that had PGT tested normal.
Unfortunately, all three of those transfers failed. It was not just financially exhausting but also mentally exhausting.
I decided to turn to donor egg and sperm, and used the CNY Buffalo location to do so.
I transferred two embryos and became pregnant with twins. Unfortunately, I did lose one twin at 9 weeks. I am currently holding my 1-month-old and have never been so in love!
I’m so thankful for CNY for the opportunity to become a mother. From start to finish, they walked me through each step and were always quick to answer any questions I had.
The facility itself was welcoming and felt very comfortable. I would recommend CNY to anyone going through this journey.

The Moment:
The moment I found out I was pregnant was Christmas Day!! The best gift I could ever receive! I’ll never forget finally getting that positive test after so many negatives!! One of the best days of my life. Fast forward to 9 months later I’ll never forget that first time holding my baby. All the shots, tears, and sleepless nights became worth it in that moment.

If I could give any advice it would be don’t give up! Give yourself grace and surround yourself with people who are going to support you!
