Vanessa & Tequon's Story:

I always knew I wanted to be a mom and I began trying as soon as I hit adulthood.

PCOS deterred every attempt I made for over fifteen years. My husband and I married, and our struggles became one.

He is a cancer survivor and was told he may never be able to conceive again. I was still struggling with PCOS.

We started IVF and went through multiple cycles at different clinics and a traumatic miscarriage before finding out about CNY.

Initially, we were travel clients and used the Colorado location. We got pregnant, but unfortunately, it ended in another miscarriage.

We decided to move across the country to Georgia and began working with the Atlanta clinic.

We started again with another fresh cycle and a trip to Syracuse for the transfer.

We were thrilled to learn we were pregnant again, but so scared it would end badly.

Through IUGR and a scary bout of preeclampsia, we finally made it to labor and delivery!

Our story was painful and seemingly unending for quite a long time, but we never gave up, and neither did the miracle workers at CNY! We are proud to show our rainbow twins to the world.

The Moment:

Getting our first set of beta numbers back was incredible! We knew in our hearts this time around would be different. The numbers were nice and strong and continued rising.

Holding the twins was surreal. To know that we had sacrificed and prayed for these babies for years and years and now they were lovingly asleep in our arms was and is an indescribable moment.

Hope, Inspiration and Advice:

Your past does not determine your future. The universe loves a stubborn heart so don’t give up on your dreams. Remain flexible, but determined.
