Mackenzy & Bryce's Story:

I have always dreamed of being a mother ever since I was a little girl, and I knew that is who I was meant to be in this life.

When I met my husband, we both shared that we wanted to have children, and we could not wait for that chapter in our lives together. After almost a full year of trying, I decided to get some testing done to make sure everything was okay with my fertility.

It came back that one of my Fallopian tubes was blocked, and that was making it difficult for me to get pregnant.

Before I even thought about doing IVF, my OB prescribed me Clomid, and I did a cycle of Clomid, but it did not work.

Then I was told my best bet of having a baby of my own was doing IVF, and I just cried because I knew we could not afford it financially.

Then my husband and I were talking to one of our friends, who told us about CNY fertility and how affordable and fantastic they were.

I remember setting up my consultation appointment and how nervous and excited I was. I was so close to having my dream come true.

I ended up doing my first cycle in April 2024 and did a fresh transfer that did not end successfully. The next month, we tried again with a frozen embryo transfer, and it was successful! I was pregnant and my dream came true!

Favorite Team Member at CNY:

Every staff member we met at the Syracuse office was amazing and so kind! Dr. Kiltz is who did my FET and I just remember how calm and joyful he was. Something I never forget is him asking if it was okay for him to pray with us after the transfer was done and that prayer was so powerful. I truly believe that prayer was a big part of the transfer being successful because prayer is powerful.

Helpful resources Mackenzy & Bryce found:

Resources that helped me during my TTC Journey was Yoga, buying baby items knowing they will be used, and tons of praying. I have an amazing family and great friends who were there every step of the way.

The Moment:

The moment I held my son for the first time was the best moment of my entire life. I just remember being in disbelief that he was the baby that was meant to be mine. I just remember looking at him in awe and saying "You are so beautiful," and just kissing his little forehead. I kept repeating how beautiful and perfect he was. How every single tear, doctors appointment, blood draw, ultrasound, shot, medication lead me to that exact moment. The moment I never wanted to end, meeting my son for the first time.

Hope, Inspiration and Advice:

If I could give any advice to others TTC, is that it will happen and to never give up. It gets hard but just think about that precious baby that will be in your arms one day, and hopefully sooner than you think. I never thought it would happen for me. Now I am a mom to the most perfect baby boy and he is my everything! Stay strong and I send all the baby dust your way. Never give up on your dream!
