Karli & Shane's Story:
My husband and I met ‘later’ in life, with me being 27 and him being 34. We decided to start trying right away since I had been diagnosed with PCOS as a teen and knew it could be a long journey.
While we remained hopeful, months turned to years. We went through a local infertility clinic, which diagnosed me with unexplained infertility and attributed it to stress from my job as well as my weight.
When weight loss and a career switch still didn’t result in pregnancy, we took additional measures. It took multiple tests, procedures, and medical diagnoses to lead us to the realization that IVF was our only hope.
My local gynecologist recommended CNY to us after removing stage 3 endometriosis and finding both my tubes blocked.
We were incredibly lucky to have success with our first frozen embryo transfer (FET) and are looking forward to our next transfer of our sweet baby girl, who is still frozen.

The Moment:
The moment I got a positive pregnancy test (the day before we went in for the blood test), I woke my husband up to tell him the news. It was the moment I had waited for.

Keep the faith and take care of yourself/ each other. It can be a long and hard process.
