Kari & Laura's Story:

As a lesbian couple, we always dreamed of having children, but we were well aware of the financial challenges that could stand in our way. Our fertility journey began in Virginia at a different clinic, where we tried both medicated and unmedicated IUI. After three heartfelt but unsuccessful attempts, we decided to reach out to CNY. Knowing they offered the most affordable pricing in the nation, we felt a glimmer of hope that they could help us realize our dream of parenthood.

After a warm and reassuring virtual consultation, we quickly understood that CNY was the right choice for us. We traveled to CNY Syracuse twice—once for the egg retrieval and again for the frozen embryo transfer (FET). Each visit was filled with kindness and support; the staff always took the time to answer our questions, and their positivity and encouragement lifted our spirits during a challenging time.

On April 2, 2024, we had our FET. As the doctor completed the transfer, he smiled and said, “You’re pregnant!” Initially, I was skeptical and held my breath, but his words turned out to be true.

Our first FET was indeed successful and filled our hearts with joy, bringing us a beautiful baby boy. The journey may have been tough, but the love and support we found at CNY made all the difference.

Acupuncture! I swear it was what made my FET successful, and so great that CNY offered it at their office.

The Moment:

The joy we felt upon meeting our son was beyond words. After navigating the heartache of failed attempts to conceive, the countless tests, and the anxiety that came with the IVF process, it often seemed like this moment might never arrive.

Yet, there we were, holding our beautiful baby boy after delivery, and it truly felt like a dream come true. We had endured so much to reach this precious moment, and the overwhelming emotions that filled our hearts were a testament to our journey. We are incredibly grateful to CNY for making this miracle possible.
