Elizabeth & Jon’s Success Story's Story:
I am very blessed to write on this page for the second time. We had been trying for 7 years- including timed intercourse, IUI, and IVF. We did two cycles of IVF and five failed transfers.
My Hashimoto's was attacking the embryos. After a lot of added testing, I found out I had adenomyosis and endometriosis, on top of Hashimoto's.
We did downregulation and had an ex lap to remove the endometriosis, then transferred in December 2023. That resulted in my first daughter, Rose.
We wanted to try to have our babies close together, and knowing it might take a few transfers, I stopped breastfeeding at 7 months and started prepping for another transfer.
I redid some tests, like the HSG, and took vitamins. I received Intralipids 10 days before the transfer, and then we went to CNY in June 2024, following the same protocol.
We transferred two embryos, a 2/7 and a 3/7. One of them took, and Daisy was born in February 2025!
She is the best little sister and brings such joy to our family!

The Moment:
We got the blood test results while on vacation at a family reunion, so it was special to be able to share with my immediate family that day.
They knew our struggles and to be cautiously excited. I wasn’t as nervous this time. I trusted that my body healed itself and knew what to do. It was a little hard knowing that only one of the two made it, but we knew that was a possibility.

I wouldn’t have my girls if I didn’t question why things weren’t working and fight for answers. There IS a reason if it’s not working, you just have to willing to search and sometimes do extensive testing to find the answer.
