Cassandra & Quentin's Story:

In early 2021, we decided that we were ready to start our family. I had my IUD removed in February and decided to start trying right away.

At first, we did not track ovulation, and when we went 6 months without conceiving, we figured our timing was just off. So we started tracking ovulation and being more intentional about TTC.

Another 6 months passed without any success. We didn’t know where to turn, and it was scary. In fear of finding out something we didn’t want to know, we kept putting off any testing.

In August 2022, we had a glimmer of hope with a chemical pregnancy/early miscarriage. If we hadn’t been trying and testing regularly, we wouldn’t even have known about this pregnancy.

Shortly after that loss, we decided to seek medical advice. After some testing, we discovered that my husband had an extremely low sperm count and motility. He started seeing a urologist who had him try Clomid to increase counts.

However, he did not find much improvement after this. In the fall of 2024, we decided to try IUI, but were told our chances were very low due to his numbers.

When we started looking at IVF through the same clinic, but felt as though we were just another number and were not getting personalized care based on our medical histories.

We also knew the cost was beyond our means. After much googling, we found CNY.

After discovering this affordable option, we started hearing about SO many success stories from friends and family about CNY.

We were shocked once we started talking about it, just how many people loved and trusted CNY. It was a no-brainer. We had our phone consult in February of 2025, and by April, we were starting our first cycle of IVF.

On 4/24/25, we had our fresh transfer, which resulted in a successful pregnancy! Our sweet Maeve Eden was born on December 15, 2025!

The Moment:

We did the frowned upon at-home test 2 days before our blood test because I simply couldn’t wait. I just remember running down the stairs to my husband with the test in my hand and we just started crying with joy! Holding her for the first time was a whole other level of love and joy!

Hope, Inspiration and Advice:

Trust in whatever you believe in. Lean on those around you - infertility can be lonely and your support system wants to be there for you. Also keep communication open with your partner. No matter who’s “fault” the infertility lies with, you’re both going through the emotions of doubt, fear, guilt, and so much more. No one is going to understand how you feel more than that person who’s going through it right beside you.
