Carli's Story:

My husband and I have been together for ten years, and for the past three years, we have been trying to conceive.

I have tubal factor infertility, and my husband has mild male factor infertility. After five failed IUIs at another clinic, we decided to give CNY a try as we had heard incredible stories of other patients.

I am an urology nurse and surrounded by other patients experiencing infertility as well, always wondering when it would “our turn” to achieve pregnancy. We are local in Rochester and traveled to the CNY Buffalo location for some of the treatments.

The staff at each location made us feel like a priority every day and never left us with any questions. Their communication was incredible for setting up our first IVF cycle. I felt so empowered to be on this journey with CNY after so much heartbreak. I’ll never forget our consultation when the nurse told us “when you are pregnant” as she was describing our medication regimen, that it hit me that this would work, and changed my perspective to a positive one. 

We performed a fresh embryo transfer on September 20, 2024, and on October 1, 2024, we received the life-changing call that it was successful, and we were pregnant!

Along with having three more embryos to freeze for future use. All those years of heartbreak, tears, endless appointments, and medications finally paid off. We were so overjoyed to be at this point and couldn’t wait to welcome our baby boy to this world!

Favorite Team Member at CNY:

Our nurse Caroline at the Rochester location was our initial consult nurse that told me I would become pregnant and she changed my perspective on infertility. It meant so much to know that there are people believing in us and who would do anything to make our dream come true.

The Moment:

Our sweet IVF baby boy Brody Michael was born on 5-24-25. Laying eyes on him, it all made perfect sense. Everything was always suppose to happen to bring us to this miracle moment! I have never felt more in love, our hearts are forever changed. Our dreams have come true thanks to CNY! I wouldn’t change a single step about our journey as it gave us our beautiful boy.

Hope, Inspiration and Advice:

Regardless of how long your journey is, in the end laying your eyes on your miracle child will make every single painful moment worth it. With both myself and my husband having an infertility diagnosis I never thought this would be possible, but with CNY it was. We cannot express our gratitude to be apart of the CNY family.
