Cynthia & Robert's Story:
Our story is a bit unique, as I had had a tubal ligation at a younger age without having had any children prior.
I did not want children for a long time. However, I found myself in a different situation later in life.
After finding my husband, I began to envision a happy future with a family. We began exploring options in 2022 and decided that the best course of action would be for me to have a tubal ligation reversal.
After much research, I knew I wanted to go with CNY Fertility. We began the process in 2023 and ended up scheduling the surgery with Dr. Kiltz for July 2024.
We married in October 2024, and we found out that we were pregnant just 2 days later!

Dr. Kiltz was amazing. He has a very bright disposition and the ability to make you feel comfortable immediately. The nursing staff were also wonderful and attentive to my needs and questions.

I found some groups on Facebook of women who were also in my same situation and found it a good resource for support at times.
The Moment:
Finding out we were pregnant so quickly was surreal. We did not think that it would happen so easily, especially with me also being considered a "geriatric pregnancy." My pregnancy and labor were not easy, however my son has been the addition we never knew we needed until he was here.
Hope, Inspiration and Advice:
For others who are starting their own journey, I would say do your research and once you have made a decision, just go for it. No second guessing and no fear. Stress makes everything so much harder, and no one journey is the same as the other.
