Words of Support and Encouragement Week of June 27, 2011
Posted by: Editor on Jun 27, 2011 in News

Good morning!  I hope you had a great weekend!  The raspberries are almost ready to be picked, and I am reminded of Michael Pollan’s Food Rules.  We read Food Rules a little over a year ago, but its message is worth repeating.  As we progress into summer, we have a great opportunity to eat fresh, whole, and local foods.  Removing processed foods and adopting a cleaner diet gives our bodies a well-deserved break.  We know that eating more whole foods is healthier, but sometimes it is challenging to figure out where to begin.  I urge you to explore your local farmer’s market, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), and U-Pick options.  It may also be a good idea to revisit Pollan’s simple Food Rules as a refresher!  Finally, please feel free to contact our Registered Dietician, Heather.

We have some great workshops and events on our CNY Fertility and CNY Healing Arts calendars. Tomorrow, I will hold the rescheduled Evening Meditation and Relaxation Webinar.  I hope you join!

Best of luck,
