Words of Support and Encouragement Week of January 31, 2011
Posted by: Editor on Jan 31, 2011 in News

As you are making your way through this journey to parenthood, you may find that some moments are more challenging than others.  If you are finding that this process is weighing heavy on your heart and mind, please don’t hesitate to ask for help.  There are many avenues for continued support, and they are all helpful in their own ways.  You may ask for support from a friend, your partner, or a licensed professional.  Wherever you find help, know that it is OK and not a sign of weakness; it is actually the first step of being a wonderful parent!  You are working towards creating a wonderfully peaceful and beautiful environment for your child, and making yourself as emotionally available as possible.

If you are looking for a counselor in your area, please feel free to ask the nurses at your closest CNY Fertility Center location.  You may also email me, and I will work to find a good fit for you.

If you are close to the Syracuse location, please join us for our Circle of Hope Support Group on Monday, February 7th at 5:30p.  This month, Meg Sullivan, LMSW will join us and offer some great insight and tools for your journey to parenthood.

For more support opportunities this month, please visit our CNY Fertility and CNY Healing Arts Calendars.

Best of luck!
