Good morning! I hope that you were able to enjoy the beautiful weekend. I’ve recently received many support requests from clients returning to our center after an unsuccessful first or second cycle. It is import to remember that although it can be incredibly disappointing to not conceive on your first few cycles, we are learning a great deal about your unique body. While you likely had incredible anticipation and hope for your first or second IVF with us, it does not mean that an unsuccessful cycle was a failure or a waste of time. We were able to answer many questions we previously had about how your body reacts to a cycle, and we were also able to rule out many potential issues that could have been effecting your fertility.
Patience and trust can be very challenging to focus on while trying to conceive, especially if you have been trying for many months or years. However, it is important to remember that you are unique. One particular treatment that has worked for someone else, may not be perfect for you. Taking the time to explore our options and your body’s reactions will help us assess the perfect treatment for you and your family.
If you would like additional support working through the many emotions that arise while trying to conceive, please join us at our Circle of Hope Support Group sessions this month:
