Good morning! I hope that you had a great weekend. As you are working to improve your fertility and wellness at CNY Fertility Center, you will find that we often suggest methods of self-care that may be new to you. Self-care and complimentary treatments are a great way for you to work on your fertility beyond medications and traditional treatments.
Initially, you may wonder if a particular practice may actually be relaxing and beneficial. If you are at all interested, I highly suggest that you try it at least once. I remember years ago thinking that yoga was just a form of exercise, and that it couldn’t possibly benefit me any more than stretching before my regular workout at the gym. I finally decided to try just one class, and I couldn’t believe how different I felt. It was a completely different mind-body release than anything I had ever felt. Had I stayed with my initial hesitations, I would had never discovered a practice that I feel greatly improved my fertility.
We have many opportunities for you to try these many practices out, right at our centers. Additionally, we have many support groups and opportunities to share this month. In Syracuse, I will be hosting a free Honoring Loss: Support for Miscarriage workshop this Wednesday, April 4th from 5:30p-7p. Additionally, Meg Sullivan, LMSW will host our Circle of Hope Support Group session on Tuesday, April 10th from 7:15p-8:30p. These are two great evenings for you to share and connect with others.
