It is time to welcome the month of June at CNY Fertility Center! We have many great events going on this month at the Syracuse, Rochester, and Albany locations to support your health and wellness with our integrative approach to fertility care in mind. One to look out for is the Vision Board night with Dr. Rob. We also have MANY yoga classes and support groups for you to attend to continue working towards your best self yet – check our CNY Healing Arts calendar often!
The quote I chose for this week is one from Henry David Thoreau. Thoreau was a poet, author and naturalist. He believed we should not so much take from the land around us, but appreciate it and all of the life and wonder it offers us. Thoreau taught us to own our actions and to take control of what we want out of life: “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.” -Henry David Thoreau
Quite often it can be easy to have a dream or goal that appears too distant or too challenging for us to accomplish. Fortunately if we change our thinking and our attitudes, we can make these dreams a reality. A great way to start this is by creating a vision board. When you create a vision board you are physically putting onto paper what your dreams and goals are. Then if you place it in a visual spot in your home or office you are constantly reminded of what you are working towards. By keeping these positive goal-oriented thoughts in the forefront of your mind, you begin to own you dreams, making them happen, and ensuring that they are yours.
Think about what your dreams and goals are, and try to join us for the vision board exercises to cultivate your tools of positive thinking!
