Good morning! We hope that you had a great weekend. Last week during the Fertility Support Teleworkshop, Lisa Stack and special guest Heather Guidone from the Endometriosis Research Center and Center for Endometriosis Care, discussed the many aspects of endometriosis as well as its impact on women’s sense of empowerment. Coping with diagnoses such as endometriosis, PCOS, and infertility can be very challenging to your sense of personal strength.
Many clients feel a loss of their identity of a strong and self-sufficient woman when they begin this journey. This is very normal, and one visit to a Circle of Hope support group session would show you that many other women are feeling the very same emotions.
As you began your journey to start or expand your family, you probably never expected to face any challenges. As you moved further into this journey, and received the diagnosis of infertility, you suddenly experience a great loss. Your body is not functioning as you thought it would. Something that many of us feel should come easily and naturally, is not occurring without outside intervention. With this realization, can sometimes come of loss of empowerment as a woman. Although these feelings are normal, we want you to know that you are strong, you are empowered, and we are right beside you throughout this whole journey. Your perception of your self may have shifted, but you are still you, and everyone around you still loves and appreciates you just the same.
To work though these feelings, we invite you to our Circle of Hope support group sessions. At these sessions, you are able to surround yourself with many other women who are feeling the same way, pushing through the same battles, and finding hope in their day-to-day journeys. Additionally, Lisa Stack is hosting a free Evening Meditation and Relaxation Webinar on Thursday, March 28th from 7:00p-7:30p. This webinar will focus on feeling empowered with the body that you have, right now.
