Words of Support and Encouragement: Eating Seasonally and July Support Groups

farmer's marketGood morning!  We hope that you enjoyed the beautiful weekend.  Over the next few weeks you will notice that the farmers markets and local produce sections will begin to overflow with fresh fruits and vegetables.  This is a great time to incorporate new healthy eating habits, while nature is giving you plenty of inspiration.  If you would like some direction in eating for your fertility, you can always schedule an appointment with one of our acupuncturists and they can make diet recommendations specifically for your body.
This week, our Syracuse and Albany Circle of Hope Support Groups are meeting.  The Syracuse session is tomorrow, Tuesday, July 9th at 7:30p and Albany’s session is tomorrow at 5:30p.  Rochester’s session will meet at the end of the month on Wednesday, July 31st at 5:30p.  If you are unable to make it to one of our in person support sessions, we do offer virtual support for you throughout the month.
We are also pleased to offer a free Interactive Fertility Support Teleworkshop on Thursday, July 18th at 6:00p.  This workshop will focus on your financial options, with our Financial Coordinator, Tracey.  This will be a great evening to clarify any questions that you may have regarding insurance coverage and financial options.
Finally, did you know that we started a new Closed Facebook Support Group?  Here, you can find a safe and secure space to share with other women and men facing similar challenges.  You can get immediate support and feedback!
For our support opportunities, both in-office and virtual, please check our CNY Fertility and CNY Healing Arts calendars.

If you are interested in a more private one-on-one support situation, Lisa Stack is our CNY Fertility Center Support Coordiator, she offers her services as a lay support person and can be contacted by email at lstack@cnyfertility.com.
If you are interested in an initial fertility consultation either over the phone (if you live out of the NY State region) or in-office, please call our toll-free number at 800.539.9870 or request a consult here.
