Twin Miracles

My husband and I had some difficulty conceiving with our first daughter, Avery, who is now six. We actually found out that I was pregnant with her while we were at our first appointment at CNY, which was extremely exciting. For our next pregnancy, we ended up back at CNY, and discovered that we were both dealing with some fertility issues. After my husband tried medication and injections for 3 months, we were told that IVF would be our best option for conceiving. Although this was very overwhelming at first, we always felt extremely confident in the care that we were receiving. Everyone at CNY Fertility was extremely warm and welcoming, and as soon as we walked in, we felt like we were in the most capable hands possible. We were very fortunate to have both embryos take in our first round. I know that going through the process was exhausting and grueling at times, but as time goes on, those details and memories start to fade, and the imprint that we have left is what a positive experience going to CNY Fertility was for our family. This is a picture of our twins, Declan and Addy, at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse. They're standing in front of the elephant maternity ward sponsored by CNY Fertility. They will be 4 next month, and our hearts are full, thanks to Dr. Kiltz and the staff at CNY Fertility.
