Keep Believing!

I am so grateful for CNY Fertility for helping our family grow. Nine years ago I began my dream of having a family. I was about to get married and found out I had a miscarriage. A year later I had another miscarriage. We were then blessed with a healthy baby boy. Then to follow I had two more miscarriages. I knew I would have more kids but the recurrent miscarriages, especially the first one left me sad and no answers to my "unexplained fertility". I began fertility treatment at another place and went through 2 IUIs and 2 IVFs with no success. As I vacationed up in Lake Placid, NY the start of the year, I felt I needed to make a change. I felt as if I needed to listen to my body and mind and try CNY fertility. CNY had such a great reputation. I found out at my son's fourth birthday party that two other mom's from his preschool had gone to CNY to have a daughter and twins. I was living south of Albany, but always thought going north was too far. I pleasantly found out I could be monitored for all my cycles close to my house and drive up to Albany. I began my treatment, I read Dr Kiltz messages online, his books, signed up for the webinars. I took the advice of starting yoga, the Mayan massage, the Accupuncture. I began some supplements he recommended and I always kept the faith that I would have more children. I loved CNY's motto that "persistence is the key". This really struck a cord with me because I knew I was going to have more children. I loved Dr Kiltz's webinars and his overall energy. Even though I never met him, I felt as if he was always part of the picture. We loved Dr. Ditkoff, Dr Grossman, the embryology team, and nurse Kimmie. Even one of the anesthesiologist went through fertility treatment previously. We went through three cycles of harvesting the eggs and two IVFs. We were happy and surprised that three of our embryos took. We learned to have patience and watchful waiting as he had gone through 5 early miscarriages before. We followed all our 3 babies grow and thrive as we made it to 6 weeks, then 8 weeks, then 12, 20, 32 weeks. I kept taking a couple supplements that were originally recommended as they helped decrease preterm labor. I was able to carry my three babies until 37 weeks. Two of them stayed in the NICU for 2.5 weeks. They are now so healthy and happy and about to turn 1 year old. I am so grateful to Dr Kiltz and all the CNY staff for making our dreams of having a family come true. ~~Michele
