Blessed!!
At the age of 22, I was diagnosed with persistent ovarian cyst's. I needed to have both overies removed. At the time I was okay with it, because I had 2 children and thought I was done with my family. As my children grew older, I began wishing I was able to have another. After my husband agreed, I began researching IVF with donor eggs. I was not quite sure how I would feel about using donor eggs to conceive. After much thought, I decited I would try. Coming from Michigan, I was able to do all the pre testing at home through my GYN. We traveled to Syracuse 10/2010. We stayed a week, and did the transfer. I became pregnant on the first try. In July, 2011 I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, we named Sophia Lauren. She is now 18 months old, and we feel beyond blessed. Our home is a much happier place with Sophia running around, as you can imagine she is incredibly loved by her older brother & sister. I thank God everyday for bringing CNY fertility & the egg donor into our lives. I can't imagine our lives without her!!
