Dr. Rob,
I first started seeing you almost three years ago. I had my first miscarriage right after I had gotten married five years ago. I wasn't that concerned, until we tried and tried and then two years later, did finally get pregnant again only to have another miscarriage. That same year, I had another miscarriage. Then I was recommended to you by another physician and that was the best advice I had ever been given. I had been through some testing with my own physician never to find a reason why I was miscarrying.
From the moment I walked into your office, I felt comfortable and reassured that someday I would have a child on my own. After two more years of trying different treatments and failing, I really thought the only way for us was going to be adoption or in-vitro. I had been through so many IUI treatments locally with my own physician and a few at your office as well. None of them ever took. Me and my husband decided we would try one final time before moving on to in-vitro. That final time, before I left your office, I knew that there was an angel above listening to my prayers and that it was finally going to work. Sure enough, two weeks later, we were pregnant. I didn't know what to think as I had three miscarriages in the past. My first ultrasound showed three sacs which made me feel more uneasy and a lot of other different emotions. The next ultrasound, there were two heartbeats, but one was very weak. The following week, there was one heartbeat. I had miscarried another. I really never thought this pregnancy would take either. I was very careful and followed all advice of my physicians. I had enough ultrasounds to create a scrapbook. Each time, the baby was growing and growing. I did go into premature labor at 33 weeks and was given shots for the babies lungs. I was released from the hospital and was very careful the next few weeks. My doctor told me that I would not go until my due date which was March 4th. Needless to say, I was induced on March 4th and tried to deliver natural but after some complications, did end up having a c-section which was ok with me. I just wanted a happy ending which I did get. Alexa Lynn was born @ 5:38 PM on March 4, 2008. She was 8 # 4oz and now is 6.5 months old weight over 18 lbs. She is a wonderful baby and I couldn't thank you more for making my dreams come true. Thanks again Dr. Kiltz.
Love,
Tracy, Sean and Alexa
