Kimberly Garofalo, FNP-C

Kimberly Garofalo is a Family Nurse Practitioner at CNY Fertility’s Syracuse office, where she combines years of fertility nursing experience with compassionate, patient-centered care. Kim first joined CNY Fertility in 2008 as an LPN, beginning her journey by performing phlebotomy, IV administation, assisting with egg retrievals and embryo transfers, and providing patient education. Over the years, she advanced through roles as an LPN, RN and now as an NP, continually expanding her skills and responsibilities.

Kim earned her LPN in 2008 from OCM Boces, her RN in 2020 from St. Joseph’s College of Nursing, her BSN in 2022 from Keuka College, her MSN, FNP from Le Moyne College in 2025, and is is continuing her education at Le Moyne College’s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program to enhance her expertise further.

Kim loves working in fertility medicine because it gives her the opportunity to help people achieve one of life’s most meaningful goals: building a family. She finds joy in developing close relationships with patients and feels honored to be part of their journey. About working at CNY, she says: “I love working at CNY because I get to be part of a team that goes above and beyond for our patients. We don’t give up on people—we find ways to help.”

Outside of work, Kim enjoys attending live concerts, skiing, camping, hiking, and traveling with her family. Her bucket list includes exploring Europe with her family. She offers this heartfelt encouragement to anyone facing infertility, reminding patients that they are not alone: “Lean on your care team, connect with support groups, and always keep the faith—persistence is key.”
