Grace Michel, FNP-C

Grace Michel, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at CNY Fertility with more than a decade of hands-on experience guiding patients through every step of the fertility journey. She began her career with CNY Fertility in 2011 as a phlebotomist, advanced to a registered nurse, and since 2017 has been serving patients as a Nurse Practitioner.

Grace earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Psychology from Le Moyne College, followed by her Master of Science in Nursing through Le Moyne’s Family Nurse Practitioner program. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and is an active member of professional organizations, including the International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma Theta Tau).

In her current role, Grace blends her clinical expertise with a strong focus on patient advocacy. She is a dedicated member of CNY Fertility’s Patient Experience Team. She assists with New York State Quad-A operating room quality assurance as well as clinical pathology review, helping to ensure consistent safety, excellence, and quality of care across the practice. Her professional interests include PCOS, endometriosis, recurrent pregnancy loss, and autoimmune-related fertility challenges.

Grace’s approach to patient care is also shaped by her own experience with recurrent pregnancy loss and infertility. This personal perspective allows her to connect with patients on a deeply empathetic level, offering support that extends beyond medicine.

Inspired by her mother, Meg Marnell, FNP-BC—a longtime provider at CNY Fertility—Grace brings both legacy and passion to her work. Outside of the clinic, she embraces the joyful chaos of raising her three children and enjoys baking, crafting, and outdoor adventures with her family. One dream still on her bucket list: traveling to Ireland to explore her family’s roots.

Her advice to patients navigating infertility: “Your journey is your own. Take the time to honor your emotions, seek support, and trust in your strength. There is no single ‘right’ path to parenthood.”
