Background/Philosophy:
If there is any philosophy that stands out in the intention of my work it’s reconnection. I believe that the most profound releases are the ones made with awareness, not necessarily force. In my youth I learned that stress is our societies number one killer, and the mind our number one healer. It made sense that providing massage could create a space to reclaim what is often lost in a busy world. So after graduating high school, I enrolled at the Finger Lakes School of Massage. I learned Craniosacral therapy in 2000, through the Upledger Institute, and I fell in love with energy work. I have subsequently trained in Reiki(I+II), Meridian Massage(Cindy Black), Aromatherapy(Aromahead), and Herbalism(7song).

The infertility journey can cause tremendous stress on the body. Amanda’s aim is to reduce that stress through massage to bring the body back to balance and create a safe, healthy, and happy home for new life.
