Kaitlin & DJ's Story:
Dj and I were married in April 2019, and shortly after, wanted to start growing our family. After a while, we started looking for answers. We began working with local fertility clinics with no success.
We endured several failed cycles and felt very defeated, and that is when we found IVF at CNY.
In December 2024, we drove from Cincinnati to CNY Syracuse for our most successful egg retrieval yet. On May 1 2025, we did a frozen transfer that would finally end up in our beautiful baby girl.
The Moment:
It was Mother’s Day weekend and I decided to take a test. I had been so accustomed to negatives that I expected it to be the same. Initially I saw nothing and set it on the counter and braced myself for defeat.
However after a few minutes a faint line appeared. I was filled with so much excitement and anticipation that this might finally be it. I held my breath until we heard the heartbeat and at each ultrasound I grew more and more excited. I felt truly blessed my entire pregnancy and nothing compared to the moment we finally got to see our baby girl!
Hope, Inspiration and Advice:
I hope our story inspires others to keep the faith and never give up on your miracle. There were so many days I thought we might not be able to go on but we are so thankful we did!
