Katherine & Jeff's Story:
My husband and I had been trying for over a year. We had a very early loss after three months of trying, and we thought we could naturally conceive.
But months and months had passed without a positive test in sight. We started to lose hope, and did additional testing with the help of my OBGYN. My tubes were clear, my husbands counts were normal, and we were completely at loss.
My OBGYN and I spoke in depth about the best courses of action for my age and our timeline to conceive. We concluded that after trying medicine and timed intercourse, it was time to move forward with IVF. CNY Sarasota felt like a dream to me when I found out it was only 1.5 hours away.

The Moment:
I remember I had one pregnancy test left after our second transfer, and I was convinced that we weren’t successful.
I took the test just to get it out of the house, and it instantly had double lines. I remember feeling so hopeful and so scared.
We kept going to CNY for HCG level checks and they were rising, and everything was going accordingly. I was nervous the entire pregnancy. When the doctors performed the c-section, and I heard Finn cry, and the midwife say “he’s a big boy!” I started to cry the happiest tears. It was the most life altering moment, and all I could do was cry and smile. They placed him on my chest, and all I remember is feeling absolutely content.
