Taking the time to honor and nurture yourself is in integral component of improving your health and wellness. Try to take a few minutes each day, especially after this weekend, to listen to your innermost needs and desires. While prayer, positive mantras, and using positive words in your day-to-day life are important, it is even more important to spend time listening. Our innermost selves always direct us in the right direction, but it takes a bit of effort to listen and respond. Yoga, meditation, spending time outdoors, and creative activities (such as vision boards!) offer quiet and peaceful moments to access our thoughts and needs.
