Words of Support and Encouragement Week of May 31, 2010

Happy Memorial Day!  I hope you are able to get outside and enjoy the weather today, and this week.

Try, this week, to remember that your thoughts and emotions are fluid.  They are not permanent, and will always move on.  It takes practice, but you do have the ability to change your thought process.

Once you notice that you are feeling sad, anxious, angry, etc… say, ‘I am feeling _____’ and then let it move on.  It may feel challenging in the beginning, but as you continue with practice your mind will begin to expect this flow of thought.  A great way to practice control of the mind is through yoga and meditation.  Visit our CNY Healing Arts Calendar for information on classes and workshops: Calendar
