Good morning! This weekend Dr. Kiltz hosted a great workshop on the benefits of The Fertile Secret, acupuncture, positive thinking, and mindfulness. As he discussed the importance of becoming self-aware, the discussion quickly centered around yoga.
Yoga is not just bending, stretching, and balancing. It is a practice of tuning into yourself through your breath and body awareness. This also is a great way to begin listening to your body, and uncovering the sources of hidden stress. Once you begin practicing yoga, you will find a greater awareness of tension or fatigue in your body. You may notice that when a challenging situation comes on, you tense your shoulders or clench your jaw. Or, when you are feeling down, you might find that your body slows and turns inward. These physical and emotional clues will help you open yourself up to working through challenges, and anticipating their impact on your entire self.
