Video: Maya Abdominal Massage and IUI (Intrauterine insemination)

Hi! My name is Lisa Stack and I’m the CNY Fertility Support Coordinator. I want to talk to you today about Maya Abdominal Massage and IUI or intrauterine insemination. Now if you’re pursuing an intrauterine insemination cycle, what you’re doing is we’re using medications to stimulate the ovaries to produce a few more follicles than normal and slightly larger. We’re also going to give you a medication to bring on ovulation at a time in point so we can bring you to the office and do a proper insemination, so we can catch all of the eggs that we can. IUI can be supplemented with Maya Abdominal Massage, and there’s some really great benefits to it. Maya abdominal massage will get some great, healthy blood flow to your entire pelvic area, especially to the uterus, fallopian, and uterine tubes. It’s important because we’re working on creating those big, beautiful eggs. So we need some good blood flow and also to relieve any tension that you may have out there and also remove any toxins around the ovaries and Maya Abdominal Massage can do that.
Similarly, when we’re looking for the egg to travel down the fallopian tube, we want to make sure there aren’t any adhesions or any blocks in the fallopian tubes, and Maya Abdominal Massage can work through any of those adhesions or tensions that you may have and help the egg completely fly down that tube nice and smooth, and avoid any trauma or difficulty there getting to the uterus. Once the egg reaches the uterus, you want to have a nice, thick uterine lining. Maya abdominal massage is integral to getting that healthy blood flow there, again releasing tensions, releasing toxins, and creating a nice, warm, healthy, relaxed environment for that embryo.
Now, if you’re interested in doing Maya Abdominal Massage, I suggest trying it before you make a new cycle just so you know what to do and what to expect so you’re not anxious just when you’re trying it out. You can begin Maya Abdominal Massage with your period and go through all the way to your ovulation date. So, when you take that trigger shot, you want to stop the abdominal massage and let your body ovulate and have a quiet opportunity to become pregnant. You also don’t want to do Maya Abdominal Massage if there is a chance that you could be pregnant, because it could pose some risks. So again, doing Maya Abdominal starring tat the beginning of your cycle every day, you can even do it a couple times a day, it’s completely up to you—all the way up through your ovulation creates a wonderful, warm, and relaxed environment for the embryo to be welcomed and to be nurtured into a healthy pregnancy. If you have any questions about this and you’re interested in Maya Abdominal Massage, please contact the CNY Healing Arts Centers or you can always shoot me an email and I can give you any more information that you would like. Best of luck!
