Single women come to CNY Fertility for many reasons. Most commonly though, single women seek fertility treatment at CNY Fertility to pursue motherhood and start a family using donor sperm coupled with an Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) or In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), to preserve their future fertility through egg freezing, or to make the beautiful gift of egg donation.
At CNY Fertility, we believe motherhood is beautiful in any form it takes. There is no one definition of what motherhood is and have seen many single women raise wonderful children through our decades of experience at CNY. Simply put, if you want to have a child, we will help you achieve your dreams of becoming a mother. Still, we understand that becoming a parent regardless of your relationship status can be stressful and particularly so for singles; fortunately, we have many support avenues to help guide you through your treatment.
At CNY Fertility, we have many treatment plans available for single women looking to start or expand their family. We work with every NY State approved sperm bank and any known donor (someone you personally know). Many women choose to start with an IUI as it offers an affordable place to start while still giving you a good chance at becoming pregnant, especially should you have no reason to think you have fertility issues. Of course, it may be a good idea to have a fertility workup. Some, whether after attempting an IUI or before may choose to do IVF as the surest method of becoming pregnant.
With all the knowledge we now have about the effect of age on female fertility, many women are smartly choosing to preserve their fertility as a way of proactively planning for the future. Typically women freeze their eggs so they can focus on their career or find mister/misses right in a relaxed fashion.
It’s important to understand that Egg Freezing is actually a safety measure, a backup plan, an insurance in case you are unable to get pregnant naturally when you are ready.
Many women come to CNY for an entirely different reason, to help offer the noble gift of life to a family in need. To learn more about Egg Donation, head to our egg donor page.
