So Thankful For Our Miracle
My husband and I began our journey to start a family in December of 2009 at CNY. We expected to become parents pretty quickly after our diagnosis that IVF would be the way to parenthood for us. After 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET over 3 years we were heartbroken and I felt like I was a failure because I couldn't do what my body was made to do, conceive a child. I was at my breaking point and no longer wanted to continue for fear that it would never happen for us. I remember sitting in one of the rooms at the Syracuse office crying uncontrollably after another failed cycle and getting up to leave CNY and never return. Dr. Kiltz heard how upset I was and came to talk to me. Our conversation was exactly what I needed at that exact moment. His passion, determination and faith in what he does along with his word that he would do everything he could to help us achieve our dream gave me the hope and strength to continue. We did another fresh cycle with a few changes a couple of months later and two days before Christmas 2012 we got our very first positive pregnancy test but our numbers were low and we feared we would lose the pregnancy. Dr. Kiltz remained positive and told us to do the same. After repeated blood tests the number continued to climb slowly and we saw our baby's perfect heartbeat at our second ultrasound. We were overjoyed. After a perfect and smooth pregnancy we gave birth to a beautiful baby boy in August 2013. He is the best thing that has ever happened to us. Words cannot express our gratitude to all the staff at CNY in Syracuse and to Dr. Kiltz. Our son is a miracle. Thank you!!
