Melinda & Joe's Story
After three years of trying and many cycles of fertility treatments, we finally conceived on our second IVF cycle. This was the most precious time because the road to getting there was very hard. There were days I felt like I was on a roller coaster with my emotions. We did not find out the sex of the baby because we wanted to be surprised. On November 2nd, at 37 weeks, I gave birth to my son, the most wonderful experience , even though I was early he was 7lbs 3ounces and 20 inches long. He made it all worth it, so I encourage people not to give up but to keep faith. I am now nine weeks pregnant with our second and final baby. I again had to use fertility drugs to maintain this pregnancy but I will wait to find out again what I am having. I did not have to go to the extreme as I did with Kaden but I did experience miscarriages this time , so both had their struggles, but again it is all worth it. I will add a picture of the new baby when it arrives but for now look at my handsome son. He truly is my miracle, and the light of me and my husband's life.
