Amanda Forsterling, WHNP-BC
Amanda Forsterling, MSN, WHNP-BC, is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner on the Global Telehealth Team at CNY Fertility. She joined the practice in 2025, bringing more than 20 years of nursing experience and a deep personal connection to fertility medicine.
Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1999 and her Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in 2024. She is certified by the National Certification Corporation (NCC) as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
Amanda began her career in fertility medicine in 2004, spending two decades as a registered nurse before becoming a nurse practitioner, a transition that allowed her to further expand her role and impact in patient care.
At CNY Fertility, she performs new patient and follow-up consultations, reviews medical and reproductive histories, provides patient education, and develops individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs. She values partnering with patients in their decision-making, ensuring they feel informed and supported as they choose the treatment path that is right for them.
Her passion for this field is deeply personal. Amanda’s own infertility journey inspired her to dedicate her career to helping others through theirs. She loves working at CNY Fertility because of the practice’s far-reaching, accessible, and affordable approach to family building, and she finds meaning in supporting patients through one of the most vulnerable and emotional experiences of their lives.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time and traveling with her husband and four children. A lifelong learner and reader, she is always balancing two books, one about health and wellness, and the other, a psychological thriller. Her bucket list is filled with new places to explore, as she loves discovering different cultures and people.
To those facing infertility, Amanda offers this advice: “Infertility can be a dark and lonely place, but you are not alone. Reach out for support from friends or loved ones, and find a provider who listens to your concerns.”
