Did you know . . . CNY Fertility has over 1 billion dollars invested in medical technology and infrastructure?
When considering various fertility clinics, it’s often a good idea to take a look at their labs (including their embryology, andrology, and endocrinology) and other technological investments. The science that goes into monitoring your body during a treatment cycle and ensuring your gametes (egg and sperm cells) and embryos are properly taken is an incredibly delicate science that takes a great deal of human care, but also a great deal of advanced scientific and medical equipment.
Embryology is perhaps the backbone of CNY Fertility and without question, a lot of what we do couldn’t be done without it. Our Embryology lab in our Syracuse and Albany locations offer our clients the ability to have conventional IVF, Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), Assisted Hatching (AH), Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD), gamete/Embryo Cryopreservation (freezing) and gamete/Embryo Thawing. We could get pretty geeky about all the incredible ICSI micromanipulators (oh did we mention ICSI and assisted hatching are part of our “basic IVF,” and offered at no additional cost), state of the art incubators that house each person’s embryos separately (so that the internal environment can be more closely controlled and can be instantaneously brought to the proper levels after opening the lid), and ventilation systems that hardly allow a single dust molecule to hang around, but we will spare you the details. But, heck, take a virtual tour with our location overview videos or just ask to see our labs next time you are at one of our offices.
Endocrinology and Blood Work Monitoring
CNY can proudly claim that a vast majority of our testing labs are handled under our own roof by our in-house endocrinology lab with state of the art equipment. In-house testing means that not only do you get more accurate results, but you also get your results sooner meaning we have the ability to update any protocols the same day.
Andrology is the branch of medicine concerned with diseases specific to the male sex, particularly infertility and sexual dysfunction. The andrology lab in each of our four locations is involved in Semen Analysis, Sperm Cryopreservation, as well as Preparation for ART procedures like IUI and IVF.
