Words of Support and Encouragement Week of March 5, 2012
Posted by: Editor on Mar 05, 2012 in News

Good morning!  I hope that you had a great weekend.  Although it doesn’t look  like it today, sunshine and warm weather are just around the corner.  Rising temperatures and singing birds mean many more self-care opportunities are opening up for you.  If you are finding that you could use some extra support and relaxation beyond our many support group and yoga for fertility sessions, this is the perfect time to plan a small garden.  Gardening has been a trusted relaxation method for many, and you do not need any special skill or training to produce a beautiful area in or around your home.  Gardening offers the quiet meditative practice of working with your hands, caring for another being, and watching beautiful life grow.  There is even increasing support for the efficacy of gardening as a relief to anxiety, depression, and other mental illnesses.  This Spring Equinox, March 20th, why not plan to get your hands a little dirty and enjoy the natural serenity of the world around you?  With just a little bit of planning, a small plot in your yard or even just a lone pot in a sunny window can turn into a relaxing world for you to retreat to when the rest of your environment becomes a little too hectic.

We have many great support opportunities for you this month, so be sure to check our calendars for updates.  Additionally, I have had many offers for support via our Success Stories – especially from successful IVF clients.  If you would like to speak with one of these generous women, please email me.

Have a great week!

Lisa
