Lisa:  Hi!  I’m Lisa Stack, the CNY Fertility Support Coordinator.  I’m here with Dr. Kiltz, the owner and founder of our CNY Fertility and CNY Healing Arts Centers.

Dr. Rob:  Good morning.  Thanks Lisa for doing all of this good stuff and sharing.

Lisa:  Absolutely, it’s my pleasure.  Today, we’re going to be talking about the third part of The Fertile Secret book.  Today, we’re going to be talking about The Fertile breath.  This really is a fantastic chapter.  I love that you put it in there because breathing is so important to relaxation and to our overall health.  In the chapter, The Fertile Breath, breathing is the way that you release your challenges every day.  Can you expand on that a little bit?  What do you mean by releasing your challenges with the breath?

Dr. Rob:  Well, life is a challenge, and breathing is a good thing I say!  When we’re born, breathing is the first thing that we have to do.

Lisa:  Absolutely.

Dr. Rob:  Isn’t it’s amazing?  We all sigh from time to time.  Boy, when you sigh, don’t you feel better when you let it out?  You let that negative energy out.  You take in a beautiful breath, and bring in clean energy.  When you take in a nice breath through the nose—there’s some science behind it that says it dilates the blood vessels and helps bring more oxygen so that you can think more clearly.  I always let it out with a smile; that’s the cleansing breath.   It just brings in the clean and lets out the old and negative energy.  It’s powerful every day.

Lisa:  What kind of benefits do you think our clients will see in practicing this breath every day?

Dr. Rob:  It helps them slow down.  When you slow down and get that recognition that it’s all OK.  Life is perfectly fine exactly as it is.  The things that you desire will come; you don’t have to work at them.  The breath releases anxiety, fears, and worries.  It’s a very ancient practice that’s been around for thousands of years—meditation.  It really focuses on the breath and you will feel it.  Thich Nhat Hanh and Andrew Newburgh have helped us share and understand it’s the value of the breath.  Practice it for 12 minutes every day; first thing in the morning, that’s all you need to do, is practice.

Lisa:  It really is fantastic, and I really love how you walk us through a couple of breathing exercises.  It really helps me to just really center myself and focus on my energy and focus on my breathing.  I absolutely felt fantastic afterward.  It only took a couple of minutes like you said.  It wasn’t a long practice, it wasn’t hard to do.  It’s easy and it really helped me.  I have seen a lot of our clients really benefit from it.  They find it so centering.

Dr. Rob:  There’s no work that you have to do to breathe, because you’re breathing anyway.  When you begin to focus on the breath, all the other thoughts and worries go away.  I’m breathing easily—1, 2, 3; I’m breathing easily—1, 2, 3.  Just some simple, simple concepts that you can practice driving in your car, sitting at your desk, or first thing when you get up in the morning is slow, easy, focused breath.  It just relieves all of that anxiety.  Not only will it help you with your fertile journey, it will help you in your daily life.

Lisa:  Thank you so much.  It really is a joy to read through it and getting all of these great tools and exercises and how I can use those to help our clients, and support our clients as well.  We have many more videos coming to you.  We will be going through the rest of the book and adding some good supplemental exercises.  Until then, we will see you later.  Thank you!

Dr. Rob:  Namaste, enjoy the day.  Thank you to Lisa for bringing this to you.  God Bless.
