Good morning! I hope you had a great weekend! The raspberries are almost ready to be picked, and I am reminded of Michael Pollan’s Food Rules. We read Food Rules a little over a year ago, but its message is worth repeating. As we progress into summer, we have a great opportunity to eat fresh, whole, and local foods. Removing processed foods and adopting a cleaner diet gives our bodies a well-deserved break. We know that eating more whole foods is healthier, but sometimes it is challenging to figure out where to begin. I urge you to explore your local farmer’s market, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), and U-Pick options. It may also be a good idea to revisit Pollan’s simple Food Rules as a refresher!
