Smoking Cessation for Fertility
Posted by: Editor on Oct 13, 2014 in News

woman by windowSmoking, while very challenging to quit, is believed to negatively impact your fertility.  The negative health and fertility affects can be found in both female and male clients.  Many of our clients are working on smoking cessation, and over the next month, we will be providing you with supportive articles, videos, webinars, and resources to help you on your journey to breaking the habit.

We also recommend that you speak with your primary care physician about medication support for quitting.  To help you make this transition, we want to make sure you have many resources to turn to and a wealth of coping tools for when urges arise.

For all of our fertility support offerings, please check our CNY Fertility and CNY Healing Arts calendars.  Please let us know if you have any questions, and we look forward to hearing from you during these sessions!

One last note, did you know that we started  new Private Facebook Fertility and Pregnancy Groups for current clients?  We also have groups for Secondary Infertility and Pregnancy Loss. Here, you can find a safe and secure space to share with other women and men facing similar challenges.  You can get immediate support and feedback!  If you are interested in joining, please message Lisa Stack within the Patient Portal.
