Words of Support and Encouragement: Closed Facebook Pregnancy Support Group

Good morning!  We hope that you enjoyed the beautiful weekend.  Last week, thanks to the inspiration from one of our clients, we created a closed Facebook pregnancy support group.  Conceiving and delivering a child is our goal on this journey, but once  you conceive, the memory of the challenges and heartache that you had faced doesn’t always just disappear.  Some clients may feel very concerned throughout their pregnancy, wondering if this truly is the cycle that will make it to term.  Or, they may have residual grief from the long journey that led them to this pregnancy.  It is normal to feel such a wide range of emotions, and sharing amongst others who have been in a similar situation to yours is a great way to work though them.

You can find the Facebook group by the link above, or by also searching ‘CNY Fertility Pregnancy Support Group’.  This group is for all stages of pregnancy.  To keep this a safe and secure place, we are keeping the group closed.  That means that you will have to request to join, and any of your interaction/posts will not appear on your personal news feed.  Only those within the group will be able to see what you post.  This is a fantastic way to connect with other moms who have faced the challenges of infertility, and understand many of the emotions you might be facing!

For our support opportunities, both in-office and virtual, please check our CNY Fertility and CNY Healing Arts calendars.

If you have any questions about the support available, please feel free to contact us at any time.  We hope to see you this week!
